If you have any problems downloading the PDF band list file,
please e-mail Beverly at beverlygott@hotmail.com with your
request and and all the information that is displayed on the band.

The letters on the band will tell you the origin of the bird.

Example of Reading a Band
IF-1234-SCHOLAR-06

The (IF) part of the band would mean that the band was issued
and originated from the International Federation organization.

The (1234) part of the band is a unique serial number for identifying that bird.

The (SCHOLAR) part of the band is the Club identification Code within the organization.

The (06) is simply the year the pigeon was born.

If you find a pigeon that has no band , then this simply means that it is a wild pigeon/feral pigeon.

If you find an injured unbanded pigeon,
contact your Humane Society.
